The park is able to offer this year’s display through the sponsorship by GDF Suez-Coleto Creek Power.
For all Goliad County residents, park entry after 7 p.m. to view the fireworks display will be free with proof of permanent county residence such as a valid driver’s license. All entries before 7 p.m. will pay the normal day use entry fee off $10 per vehicle.
The park offers a large picnic area with tables and barbecue grills, a marked swimming area, sand volleyball courts, playgrounds, hike-and-bike trails, group-use pavilions, a lighted fishing pier and overnight camping facilities.
