According to DCP Midstream spokesperson Lisa Newkirk, the package was determined to be of no danger.
GCSO deputies blocked traffic one-quarter of a mile around the plant for approximately three hours as the contents of the package was being determined.
Newkirk said plant operations were not interrupted. She said all employees were instructed to remain in the plant's control room while the package was being investigated.
