Christmas in Downtown Kenedy was again a beautiful sight and a true effort of unity.  Working together truly makes a difference. We thank the downtown businesses for their decorations and making our Main Street look awesome!

This year we purchased six more lighted trees and they did make an impressive statement.  We also purchased two swags, but due to circumstances beyond our control, we did not get them hung. (Guess we are “one step ahead” for next year)

SARA has been working on Escondido Creek from Hwy. 181 to 5th Street.  Roy Freeman has been a liaison officer for us with the SARA Organization.  We thank Mr. Freeman and SARA for their hard work.

Plans are in the making for our banners…more about them in the future.

We want to thank the citizens who have donated money to the Kenedy Main Street account.  Every donation is put to great use.

You are an important part of booming Kenedy!  Please do your part to help by showing your pride to participate and motivate others to help improve our city and county.   Please help clean up debris and untidy areas.

Money is always needed.  Every dollar counts!  If you would care to donate:

Make checks payable to: Kenedy Main Street Beautification, Karnes County National Bank, P.O. Box 300, Kenedy, Texas 78119.
