Lion and Leopard tennis players earn honors at district meet

The Kenedy Tennis Team recently competed in the 31A District Meet in Port Aransas. The kids had a great showing with Reed Bell and Taylor Atkinson earning District Title in the Mixed Doubles category. Reed and Taylor beat out Yorktown, Benavides, and Port Aransas to earn their trip to Regionals.  Also headed to Regionals is Rhett Bell clinching the District Title in Boys Singles beating out Yorktown, Woodsboro, and BenBolt. Other medalists were Karly Nichols and Sean Sutton who won a 2nd place medal in the Junior Varsity division. As a whole the Kenedy Team placed 3rd out of 7 schools present. Congratulations Lions and Leopards on a job well done, and Good Luck at Regionals.
