Larry Edward Hunter, 63, of Hobson, died Saturday, August 20, 2011 in Kenedy, Texas.

He was born March 27, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to Edward Harris Hunter and Helen Joyce Hunter. He married Maria Rodriguez. He was a retired automotive service advisor and a Christian by faith.

He was preceded in death his parents, Edward Harris Hunter and Helen Joyce Hunter.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Rodriguez of Hobson; daughters, Amy Renee Cole of Carrollton, Yvonne Marie Solis of Killeen, and Amanda Marie Munoz of Hobson; sons, Chad Edward Hunter of Denton, Joshua Edward Hunter of Denton and Michael Anthony Ingle of Corinth; brothers, Alfred Ray Hunter of Mesquite, Tony Harris Hunter of Lancaster, Darwin Lee Hunter of Shreveport, LA and Neal Burton Hunter of Garland; and seven grandchildren.

A prayer service was held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Eckols Chapel in Kenedy.

Funeral services were held Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Eckols Chapel in Kenedy. Interment followed at Los Cinco Rodriguez Cemetery in Karnes City, Texas.

Pallbearers were John Rodriguez, Jerry Rodriguez, Carlos Solis, Joshua Hunter, Chad Hunter and Michael Ingle.
