In the night cap game the Kenedy Lions JV also hosted the Yorktown Wildcats for the Lions 5th game of the season.

The Lions would pitch their 4th shutout of the year as they shut down the Wildcats 20-0.

Joey White would get on the board first for the Lions as White rambled in from 6 yards out with 4:55 in the first.

The 2pt run would be stopped short to leave the Lions in front 6-0.

Dominic Cruz would pick off a Wildcat pass to set up the next Lions score.

Cedric Mejia would get the honors with a 4 yard plunge.

Cruz would pass in the 2pt conversion to Charlie Lobner to push the lead to 14 for the Lions with 3:28.

The Lions would get their final score of the game with 39 second left in the first half as Cruz would connect with Jeremy Rodriguez for a 24 yard touchdown.

The 2pt run would be no good and the Lions would take a 20-0 lead into half.

In the second half the Lions would just as the past three weeks rotate in their second teams and move the ball as Zeke Jacques would have some good runs but penalties would stall their possessions.

The defense would still keep up the pressure to insure the shutout.

With the win the Lions are now 5-0.
