Kenedy Headstart participates in ‘Jumpstart-Read for the Record’ campaign

On Thursday, Oct. 6, the children enrolled at the Kenedy Headstart Center participated in the “Jumpstart-Read for the Record” campaign.  The children and their teachers joined over 2 million others around the world by reading the story “llama, Llama Red Pajama”, written by Anna Dewdney.  This campaign brings awareness to the importance of early education. Pictured are the children in the class of Judy Guerra and Eva Rodriguez, and also pictured are the children in the class of Irma Garza and parent volunteer, Frances Huerta.
