Vallie Marie Blevins Terrell, 80, passed away on December 29, 2011.Vallie was born in Fox, Oklahoma, on September 26, 1931. She celebrated her 61st wedding anniversary with her loving husband, Billy Roy Terrell on Christmas Eve.

Her hobbies included golfing, fishing, oil painting and sewing. She was also very involved with genealogical research. She was a long-time member of the Kingsland Genealogical Society, Eastern Star and was an organizing member of the Llano Uplift Chapter, NSDAR.

She leaves behind her husband, Billy Roy Terrell, daughters Susan Lea Terrell Owens (Michael) of Copperas Cove, Texas, Patricia Lynn Terrell Chimene (J.B.) of Austin and daughter-In-law Sharon Terrell of Highlands, grandchildren: Shaunda Terrell, Michelle Terrell, David “Andy” Terrell (Karen), Steven Terrell, Jonathan Owens (Crystal), Vallie Owens Cameron (Jeremy), G.G. Chimene, Zachary Chimene, Coby Chimene, and 7 great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brother Buck Blevins (Nancy) of Chandler, Texas, and sister Johnie Sue (J.R.) Chumley of Purcell, Oklahoma, her brother-in-law Walter Terrell (JoAnne) and sister-in-law Ila Mae Terrell both of Norman, Oklahoma.

Vallie is preceded in death by her parents, Otis “Hap” and Elva Blevins of Lindsay, Oklahoma, three brothers, and her only son, Michael Roy Terrell.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at 10:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Marble Falls, Texas, with a short reception to follow. Interment will be in Elmore City, Oklahoma on Thursday.
