Linda Lang Fowler, died, Jan. 1, 2012.

She was born May 12, 1935 in Simonsville, Texas to Alfred Henry Lang and Lydia Esther (Simons) Lang. She was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell, a respiratory therapist at DeTar Hospital, gas station manager and Victoria Advocate carrier. She was a gardener, seamstress and a Christian by faith.

Survivors include her children, Mack G. Tumlinson, Sr. (Tracy) of New Berlin, Terilynn Tumlinson Zengerle (Curtis) of Yorktown, Maxie Lee Tumlinson, Jr. of Kenedy and Christianna Tumlinson Steinbert (Aaron) of Kentucky; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marlon Fowler, Sr.; brother, Herman "Red" Henry Lang and grandsons, Jeremy Tumlinson and Joshua Tumlinson.

A private, direct burial was held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Kenedy.
