Survivors include children, Otilia Ortegon of San Antonio, Thomas Cisneros, III, and wife Sandra of Round Rock Texas, Elda C. Smith and husband Mark of Brazoria, Texas, Oscar Cisneros and wife Carmen of Richmond, Texas, Aide Cisneros of Woodbridge, Virginia, Eloy Cisneros of Karnes City, and Gilda Cisneros of Karnes City; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; step-children, Sylvia Garcia and husband Armando of Austin, Texas, Irma Garcia and husband Lionel of Kenedy, Texas, and Diane Villarreal and husband Jimmy of El Oso, Texas; seven step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Susie Bryant, Elizabeth L. Cantu, Eugenia “Kena” Martinez, Lydia L. Slizza, and Isabel Munoz Palacios; and brother Antulio Lopez.
Preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Thomas Cisneros Jr.; second husband, Trine G. Moreno; sisters, Maria Guadalupe Gonzales, Cleotilde Vasquez; and Lucinda Lopez and brothers Joaquin Lopez Jr., Socrates Lopez, Amando Lopez, Antonio Lopez, and Juanito Lopez.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012 at St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Karnes City. The funeral Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Karnes City. Interment followed in the Karnes City Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Thomas Cisneros IV, Steven Smith, Mathew Smith, Justin R. Pedroza, Jessie Gutierrez Jr., Jeremy Cisneros, and Paul Cisneros; and honorary pallbearers included Alexander Cisneros Ortiz, and Jimmy Villarreal.
