The Varsity Badger Baseball team lost 9-5 against the district rivals, the Poth Pirates, Monday, March 5, night.

Junior Philip Vaughan and Senior Cody Salas had good games at the plate both going 3-4, Coach Cody Fields said.

Junior Garrett Liska pitched 7 innings allowing only 4 earned runs.

“Walks and errors hurt us,” Fields said. “We can’t keep giving away outs.”

Vaughan had 2 steals and a run, and Salas scored 3 runs.

The Badgers entered the 7th inning with a 1-run ball game but fell short due to a few errors.
