The Badger Baseball team had a pair of walk-off games during Spring Break.

The first was a loss to Natalia on March 13.  The team came from behind in the top of the 7th inning, scoring 4 to tie the game, only to have Natalia score a run with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th to win 8-7.

On Friday, March 16, the Badgers got on the winning track with another exciting finish against Dilley.  After giving up 2 runs in the top of the 7th to tie the game at 5, Senior Cody Salas tripled to lead off the home half of the inning and Junior Garrett Liska singled him in for the walk-off win, 6-5.

The Badgers played their rain-postponed game against George West on Monday, March 12, and lost 8-3.

The Badgers hit the road this week traveling to Jourdanton on Tuesday (results will be in next week’s paper) and Three Rivers on Friday. JV begins at 5 p.m. and varsity takes the field at 7 p.m.
