This was a good test for the Lions as they have needed to see some playoff caliber pitching and George West did have that. With the lost the Lions record is now 14-2 with one district game left on Monday in Woodsboro and another warm up game against Somerset who is in the 3A top ten on Friday May 4th at 7:00 in Somerset.
