Above and Below: Mrs. Bridgit Hernandez’s 4th grade social studies class at Pawnee ISD completed a 3-D map that represented the Battle of San Jacinto.  The students were assigned to follow a rubric and could use any materials to create their maps.  The students were able to express their creativity and at the same time learn the importance of the Battle of San Jacinto that took place during the Texas Revolution.  The maps will be placed in the school library for viewing.
