There will be a meeting of the Karnes County Historical Society at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 21. The meeting will be held at the Ruckman House in Helena. At the meeting we will tour the Ruckman House and discuss future plans. We will also view the new roof and other improvements made recently by Marvin Wiatrek's construction company. The Karnes County Courthouse restoration schedule status, new Historical Markers in 2012, and our 2012 membership drive will be discussed. We'll also continue planning Indian Summer Days. At 5 there will be another special meeting of the Flaccus History group.
Please plan to attend if you are interested in saving and sharing the unique and interesting history of Karnes County.
