She was born Oct. 15, 1916 in Cestohowa to Anton Moczygemba and Sally Sczepanik Moczygemba. She and Thomas Yanta were married on Feb. 14, 1938 in Cestohowa. She was a farmer, rancher, and housewife. Louise was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Panna Maria, a member of the Altar Society, and the Rosary Circle.
Survivors include sons, Martin Yanta and wife Dorothy, Larry Yanta and wife Karen, Allen Yanta and wife Mary Jane, and Clarence Yanta and wife Dona; sisters, Connie Migura, and Lola Harver; brother Claude Moczygemba; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband Thomas; son Alvin Yanta; brothers, Higgen, Alfred, Herman, and Daniel Moczygemba; granddaughter Veronica M. Yanta; and great grandson Lance Cole Yanta.
Visitation was held at 5 p.m., Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Panna Maria with a rosary at 7 p.m. A funeral mass was celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday at the church. Interment followed in the Panna Maria Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Brian Yanta, Tim Yanta, Brett Kornacki, Jordan Hosek, Mark Jarzombek, Kenny Darr, Simon Yanta, and Edwin Yanta. Funeral services were entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home., Inc. of Karnes City, Texas.
