· Handwork and quilting time to prepare lap quilts for the needy. “Healing Hands” will meet the first Thursday of the month, July 5 from 3-4:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Karnes City
· Support group for anyone in the county who is need of basic coping and support skills. “Soul Support” will meet Monday July 9 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Karnes City
· Blood pressure screenings at the Karnes County Christian Thrift Center, Friday July 6 from 9:15-10:30 AM and at the Runge Library, Tuesday July 10 from 2:30-4:00 p.m.
