Santa Claus accepts a warm hug from a young man during his visit to the park in Karnes City Saturday afternoon. Visitors to the annual Christmas in the Park event enjoyed crafts, Christmas music, and a basketball shooting competition for elementary and Jr. High age youngsters during the event organized by the Karnes City Chamber of Commerce. Although temperatures were warmer than usual across Karnes County communities this weekend, there was plenty of Christmas cheer visible, shared by young and old alike.
