He was born December 12, 1915 in San Marcos to Alfonso Palmarez and Crecencia (Hernandez) Palmarez. He married Jesusa (Banda) Palmarez on March 17, 1944.
Survivors include his sons, Guadalupe (Maria Elena) Palmarez, Jr. of San Antonio, Adolfo (Birdie) Palmarez of Karnes City and Minerva “Minnie” (Amelio) Castillo of Victoria; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held Friday, July 19, at 2 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home with a rosary recited that evening at 7 p.m.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Fashing.
Burial followed in the Guadalupe Cemetery in Fashing.
Pallbearers were Guadalupe Palmarez, Jr., Adolfo Palmarez, Amelio Castillo, Mark Palmarez, George Palmarez and Lorenzo Palmarez. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home, Karnes City.
