SINTON – The Goliad Tigerettes won three of six volleyball matches at the Sinton Tournament on Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, the Tigerettes (8-6) beat Edcouch-Elsa 25-11, 25-19 and Robstown 25-4, 25-9 before losing 25-16, 25-15 to Sinton.

On Saturday, Goliad beat Yoakum 22-25, 25-23, 25-20 before losing 24-26, 25-22, 25-21 to Taft and 20-25, 25-23, 25-23 to Corpus Christi Flour Bluff.

Ashtin Zamzow (37 kills, 31 digs, 68 assists), Megan Hilscher (35 kills, 28 digs and Sydney Morris (29 kills, 42 digs) led the Tigerettes.
