The Karnes City Lady Badgers volleyball team defeated Luling at home on Oct. 8, winning three straight games.

The game scores were 25-16, 25-17 and 25-7.

JuliAnn Chesser led the Lady Badgers in kills with a total of seven. Kayla Ramirez, Shelby Allen and Kortney Witte each had four kills.

Chesser led Karnes City in assists with a total of 14 in the match. Ramirez had nine assists in the match against Luling.

Witte, Miranda Leal and Lauren Kelley each had three digs in the match against Luling.

Allen had two blocks in the Oct. 8 match.

Ramirez led the Lady Badgers in aces with a total of eight during the match on Oct. 8. Leal had five aces and Allen had four aces.

The Karnes City Lady Badgers will go on the road to face Nixon-Smiley on Tuesday, Oct. 22.

Game time is 5 p.m.
