He was born on April 6, 1929, in Ecleto to Juan Reyna and Ramona (Servantes) Reyna.
Survivors include his children, Felicia (Ruben) Sanchez of Poth, Jimmy (Minga) Reyna of Goodland, Kan., Lupe (Vidal) Barrera of Belton, Mo., Sylvia (Alberto) Barrera of Belton, Mo., Yolanda Reyna of Naperville, Ill., Jenny (Julio) Ramos of San Antonio, Johnny (Roseanne) Reyna, Jr. of Belton, Mo., and Lilly Smith of Scott City, Kan.; 85 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Soila Barrientez, Sofia Pena, Sara Osuna, Maria Moreno and Victoria Castaneda; and brothers, Pancho Reyna, Alcario Reyna and Pedro Reyna.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Felis Reyna; and a sister, Anita Sandoval.
Visitation began on Monday, Dec. 2, at noon at Rhodes Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. that evening.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m. at St. Cornelius Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Karnes City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Julian Torres, Mark Barrera, Isaac Garcia, Sonny Barrera, Johnny Reyna, Jimmy Joe Reyna, Pedro Reyna Jr. and Marcus Gonzalez.
