The Kenedy Public Library invites the community to celebrate National Library Week during the week of April 13-19. This year’s theme is: “Lives Change at your Library”. National Library Week, first sponsored in 1958, is a national observed day sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA).

This year the library wants you to tell about an experience or discovery on how the Kenedy Public Library has impacted your life. Your story will be entered for a chance to win a prize. With given permission the prize winner’s story will be published in the local newspaper. You may pick up an entry form at the Kenedy Public Library, 303 W. Main St., Kenedy,Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

For more information, call the library at 830-583-3313. Entry deadline is Friday, April 11 at 5 p.m. Winner will be announced on Thursday, April 17 at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
