For those individuals wanting to obtain a Private Applicator's License, the Karnes County Extension Service will be sponsoring Private Applicator Training to be held in Kenedy. The training will be on Tuesday May 20 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Ashland Aqualon Training Center in Kenedy. Please be prompt, as this training requires the full morning. The fee for the Private Applicator Training will be $25 per participant and will include lunch. There will be a break for lunch from 12 - 1 p.m. At 1 p.m. a representative of the Texas Department of Agriculture will administer the test.

You will need to arrange to come by the County Extension Office at 115 N Market Suite B, Karnes City to purchase the training manuals prior to the training and testing date. The cost of these manuals will be $40, which includes the Private Applicators Manual and the TDA Laws & Regulations Manual. Please allow yourself enough time to be able to review the manuals prior to the training. The manuals are required and can not be mailed out. In addition, it would be beneficial for you to bring a calculator for use during the test.
