Jacob Coffman fell a little short at this year’s Jr. Olympics State Tournament held in at the Woodlawn Gym in San Antonio from May 23-25. After winning an impressive fight opening night with a unanimous decision, Jacob lost his chance at a state title in the finals. “There is no finger pointing here, we just lost to a better boxer” says coach Chris Tobar. “We will continue to work hard to prepare ourselves for the next tournament.”

The next tournament will be held in College Station, where this year’s Texas Games is being hosted. “We want to thank everybody, who made the trip to San Antonio. We truly appreciate your support” says coach Domingo Tobar.
