Karnes City camper earns award at Hermann Sons Youth Camp

COMFORT – A Karnes City youth received an award at the end of her week of camping at Hermann Sons Youth Camp this summer.

A week at Hermann Sons Youth Camp is offered as a fraternal benefit to junior members of Hermann Sons between the ages of 9 and 13. Eight weekly sessions are held each year at two sites - Riverside Camp for girls and Hilltop Camp for boys. Both are accredited by the American Camp Association.

Aileen Krause was named Most Athletic Camper during Week 8 at Riverside Camp. Aileen, a member of Karnes City Hermann Sons Lodge No. 215, is the daughter of Otto and Phyllis Krause.
