Mrs. Ray was born July 18, 1947, in San Antonio.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, James W. “Jimmy” Ray; and her father, E.P. Bennett.
Survivors include her mother, Lucille Curl of Cuero; a son, James Ray of Beeville; a daughter, Rhonda Ray of San Angelo; two sisters, Evelyn Coker of Sweetwater and Kay (Francis) Pavliska of Cuero; two grandchildren, Shelby and Aaron “A.J.” Ray of San Angelo; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of her life wass held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Calvary Lutheran Church.
Arrangements were under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home in San Angelo/Sherwood.
