Sheriff Robert Bolcik reported 2,424 calls went through dispatch from Nov. 1 to Nov. 7.

The sheriff’s department responded to 32 calls; the Refugio Police Department, 26; state troopers six; medics, 18; Woodsboro marshal, four; animal control, 12.

Deputy Daniel Beltran was dispatched to Summit St. in Woodsboro on Nov. 7, at 12:32 a.m. A male subject was allegedly taking a mirror off a car. When asked what he was doing, he replied, “She tore up my vehicle, now I am tearing up hers!”

Trooper David Poland, officer Preston Haynes and Beltran were dispatched to Mission Oak apartments Nov. 7, at 1:22 a.m. in reference to a dispute. Parties were separated.
