The Lady Casts won over San Diego in the first game, winning in two matches. Then the Lady Cats took on Skidmore, crushing them in two games to make it to the championship game. The Lady Cats lost to Banquete in two games.
The Ladies ended up with second place in district for eighth grade volleyball.
“I would like to take the time to express how proud I am of these girls and how hard they have worked all season,” said Coach Mallory Adams. “These ladies not only learned how to be great athletes, but what it takes to be a better team. They have made my first year as a coach/teacher very enjoyable. I could not ask for a better group of girls.”
