Superintendent Dr. Sue Thomas issued the following statement on the matter on Monday.
“As of Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, Abel Barrera is no longer the head boys basketball coach for the Beeville Trojans. Until other arrangements are made, Athletic Director Troy Moses has taken on that assignment. Since this is a personnel issue, no other information concerning this change will be released at this time.”
