Another mobile home was consumed by fire on Saturday evening, just outside the George West City limits. A man asleep in the home at the time of the fire managed to escape unharmed. Fire officials said a lighted candle may have been the cause of the fire. Both George West and Three Rivers Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the 911 call made at 10:40 p.m. by a neighbor that said she saw “a large fire in the woods down from her house at the end of Guerrero Street.”
