BPA sponsor Flo Moore said, “Eleven students from George West High School have spent the last few months perfecting their workplace skills in various business-related events and showcased their expertise at the ‘Building Professionals in America’ conference Overall, the GWHS BPA chapter came away with seven first places, one second, one third and two fourths in the individual events.”
Nine students advanced to the state competition by placing in the top two in judged events or in the top three in graded events. Six of those students will each compete in both an individual and a team event at state. The State Conference will be held in Fort Worth March 2-5.
All students placed in the top four in their events. The results are as follows:
