Colton Ryan Langridge graduated with honors from Sam Houston State University during commencement exercises on Saturday, Dec. 18.

A pre-med student, Colton received a Bachelor of Science Degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. Colton’s next step towards pursuing his medical degree is attending medical school in July.

Colton received an automatic acceptance from the Texas A&M University System Health Science Center College of Medicine in College Station and is awaiting results of the match in February, where he was also invited for interviews by the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School, and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Colton graduated from Woodsboro High School in 2007 and is the son of Bobby and Valerie Langridge of Woodsboro, the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Langridge, Sr. of Goliad and Beth Ermis of West Sinton and the late Ernest Ermis.
