Candidates who wish to file for school board, city council, hospital board or other elected seats may file their applications with the various entities in the county.
Woodsboro ISD
Forms are available at the WISD administration office at 408 South Kasten in Woodsboro. For more information, please call Brenda Mundine or Superintendent Steven Self at 361 543-4518.
Board members Scott Carter, place 1, and Robby Thomas place 2, are up for election.
Refugio ISD
Forms are available at the RISD administration office on the RHS campus.
Board member Andy Rocha, single member district 6, and Ethel Garza, single member district 7, are up for election.
Austwell-Tivoli ISD
Council members Carlton Hopper Jr., place 7, Marilyn Pagel, place 6 and the vacancy position filled by Wade Ruddock, place 3, are up for election.
Town of Refugio
Mayor Rey Jaso and council members Karen Watts, place 1, and Garrett Engelking, place 2, are up for election.
Town of Woodsboro
Mayor George Hernandez and council members Larry Jochetz, place 1, and Debra Bolcik, place 2 are up for election.
Town of Bayside
Council members Karen Clark, place 1, Al Posas, place 4, and Orville Downs, place 5 are up for election.
Hospital District
The Town of Austwell, and the Hospital District will announce candidates at a later date.
