The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ and the Refugio County 2011 Area Go Texan Committee Announces Scholarship
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo awarded 70 four-year, $16,000 Area Go Texan Scholarships to outstanding students graduating from public school districts in counties participating in the Show’s Area Go Texan program.
Refugio County Area Go Texan Committee is made up of 18 men and women who give time and money promoting the Houston Show though a variety of activities.
Katie is the daughter of Pinky and Melissa Gonzales of Refugio and Sam Bernal of Austwell.
