The Beavers proved to have a hot offense during Falls City’s first scrimmage, against the Jourdanton Indians Saturday morning.

At the beginning of the scrimmage, Falls City quickly played their way down the field. Senior Colin Dziuk outran the Indians and later in the game came an interception by senior Luke Mynier. As the scrimmage continued, a beautiful pass from sophomore Cameron Soto to Luke led to another Beaver touchdown.

As his first year coaching, coach Jim Ed Baugh said “This year I hope these boys have a lot of fun and that I’m able to teach the team something while learning new things from them.”

Falls City’s next scrimmage will be August 19 at 5 p.m. against the cross-county Kenedy Lions.
