FCHS COAT AND BLANKET DRIVE

The Falls City High School National Honor Society annual coat and blanket drive will run from November 15 to December 13. Bring items to the Falls City High School office. Donations will be taken to the Samm Shelter.



BADGER BOOSTERS

The Karnes City High School Badger Boosters will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, November 29 in the Karnes City High School cafeteria. Come and support all of our Badger programs. Go Badgers!



CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK

The Karnes City Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring Christmas in the Park, Saturday, December 4, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Santa will arrive at 2:30. Anyone interested in having a Craft or Food Booth, please call the Chamber office at 780-3112 or come by to register and for more information. Let’s have a great event for our kids!



FREE BLOOD SUGAR, PRESSURE CHECK

First Baptist Church of Kenedy and Kaiser Home Health will offer a “free” blood pressure check and blood sugar monitoring for all senior adults 60 years or better on Monday, December 6 at 1 p.m. in the Christian Life Center foyer. The monthly Senior Adult Fellowship will follow at 2 p.m. First Baptist is located at 209 E. School Street in Kenedy. All senior adults are welcome.

WESLEY NURSE EXERCISE CLASS

The Wesley Nurse Exercise Class meets Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays at 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Karnes City United Methodist Church. The class is free. We walk indoors (heat/AC as needed!) and include strengthening exercises. Do something good for your body — come join us. You don’t have to be ‘in shape’ to get in shape.



NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS

“Tell Yourself” Nobody Needs to Suffer with the Disease of Addiction Alone. Mondays and Thursdays from 8:15 to 9:15 p.m. at the Curtis Johnson Visitors Center, one-quarter mile outside the entrance to the Connally Prison entrance in Kenedy. Meetings are open to everyone. RUNGE LIBRARY SOCIAL HOUR

Every Monday through Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. The Runge Public Library will be hosting a free afternoon social. All adults are welcome to drop by and play games, do puzzles, create crafts, and/or chat. Coffee, conversation, snacks, an air-conditioned room, and it’s all free. We’ve got playing cards, board games, dominos, and jigsaw puzzles available, and someone’s always on hand whether you’d like to do something or just sit around and talk about nothing in particular. So come on by and join us.
