Felipe Aguero, 50, of Kenedy passed away November 29 in Karnes City. He was born to the late Manuel Aguero and Anita Medina Aguero on April 18, 1960, in Choate, Texas.

He was married in 1998 to Mary Jane (Longoria) Aguero in Beeville, Texas. Mr. Aguero was a retired oil field worker and a member of the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Aguero of Kenedy; daughter, Anita (Ruben) Soliz of Kenedy; sons, Philip Manuel Aguero of Kenedy and Robert Lee Briones of Kenedy; sisters Janie Aguero of Victoria, Romana Mendoza of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Lupe Perez of Santa Rosa, Texas; and brothers, Ruben Aguero of Kenedy, Frank Aguero of McAllen, Pilar Cadena of La Feria, Texas, and Chano Cadena, of Thousand Oaks, Calif., as well as two grandchildren.

His parents and his brother Manuel Aguero, Jr preceded him in death.

Pallbearers attending were Ray Morgan, Eduardo Sosa, Jerome Barrientes, Ruben Soliz, Toby Longoria, and Robert Briones.

A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m., Thursday, November 30 at Eckols Chapel. Services were celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 1, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.

Interment followed at Loma Alta Cemetery in Kenedy, Rev. Norbert Herman officiating.
