As we begin 2009, we’d like to reflect back on 2008. With much help, we were able to light up the North Pole again this past Christmas.

We get much enjoyment out of sharing our love for the Christmas season with everyone in our community. Our animations and lights are put up for the pleasure of all.

Mrs. Jones and I would like to recognize those who helped set up the North Pole. We appreciate very much the assistance given by Bee County’s Chief Deputy Alden Southmayd, Karl Brune, Adam Levine and Bee County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post 200. We wish to thank Boy Scout Troop #316, and also Sgt. Ronnie Jones, Lea Anne Jones and Trey and Brooke Jones for all their help.

We send out a special thanks to Thomas Jefferson Do-Bee Club for their very generous donation. We’d also like to mention Mr. Chestnut and family. Thank you so much.

As in the past, we wish to express our appreciation to each one who has helped in his or her own special way. Please accept our apology for not being able to name all involved in this great effort.

We are grateful for the coverage of the North Pole by the Bee-Picayune, and thank you to KIBL for its participation.
