On Tuesday night, the ‘Cats traveled to Freer to meet the Buckaroos. The S-T boys played one of their best games of the season and defeated the Bucks, 6-4.
The Bobcats were led offensively by Sonny Hernandez with a perfect 4-4 performance at the plate. Kyle Nelson also hit well for coach Jesse House, collecting three hits in four trips to the plate. Johnathan Hernandez went the distance on the mound for the team, scattering six hits over seven innings of work.
On Friday night, the Bishop Badgers were in Skidmore to challenge the Bobcats. The Badgers had their bats ready and the visitors captured an easy 12-2 win. A big seven-run second inning broke the game open for the visitors.
Jeremy Byrd and Derek Boggess each had two hits for the Bobcats in the loss.
The Skidmore-Tynan varsity traveled to Taft on Tuesday night to take on the Greyhounds. On Friday night, the S-T boys will host the Banquete Bulldogs. The varsity games begin at 7:30 p.m.
