The big, white cargo planes with the Egyptian flag on the tail shows up every now and then to drop off a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter for upgrading and to pick up one that has been successfully completed.
The C-130 is capable of holding one Black Hawk.
The plane landed Monday and employees of Sikorsky and Kay and Associates were busy taking the new arrival apart for service Tuesday morning.
The Egyptian government is only one entity that has a contract with Sikorsky for upgrading its fleet of Black Hawks.
Bee Development Authority and Sikorsky were hosting aircraft crews from two countries this week, including the group from Egypt and another from the Colombian Air Force.
The Columbians also were there to drop off a helicopter and pick up another.
The Sikorsky operation upgrades Black Hawks for several governments and U.S. agencies, including the U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.
An ICE Black Hawk was returned to service just a few months ago following a roll-out ceremony at Chase Field.
