Lady Trojan Erika Martin jumped her way to a fifth place finish at the state track and field meet in Austin this morning. Martin started the competition as the ninth seeded long jumper in the state and moved through the ranks of older jumpers to place fifth overall. It was thought that all of those jumpers ahead of her were seniors and the sophomore Lady Trojan competed right with them.
