First team all-district performers included Eagle pitcher Ryan Beck. The right hander went through a tough season and was always on the mound against the district’s top teams. He kept the Pettus boys in the game and gave the Eagles a chance to win almost every time out. Infielder Dylan Dunn also was named to the first team for his fine play in the Eagle infield. A slick defensive player with some pop in his bat, Dunn provided a stabilizing influence in the Eagle infield for coach Anthony Ramirez.
Second team all-district honors were bestowed on outfielder Hunter Tomlin and catcher Taylor Yeoman.
The Eagles also had several players make the Academic All-District 31-A team. Players must be in good standing on the team and they must maintain a 90 or above average in the classroom to be considered for the elite squad of student-athletes.
Eagles making the grade on and off the field include Ryan Beck, Clay Brown, James Constante, Casey Jones, Lane Kruger and Taylor Yeoman.
