Team registration for this year’s Joe Barber Memorial Relay for Life will celebrate its kick-off at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, at the Refugio City Hall club room.

“The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Refugio County gives everyone in the community a chance to help the organization save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays,” said Monica Flores, county chair.

Former and current cancer patients, those who have lost a loved one to cancer, families, businesses, faith-based and civic organizations, and anyone wanting to make a difference in the fight against cancer are invited to take part in this exciting team event.

Relay For Life takes place from 6 p.m. on November 12, until 7 a.m. on November 13, at the Refugio County Fairgrounds.
