FMC Elementary would like to thank our local H-E-B Food Store for their recent donation to our school.

The Accelerated Reader program from Renaissance Learning is an important program on our campus. Students read books and then take an online comprehension test on the book, earning points. The goal for students is to maintain an 85 percent average correct on all the tests they take throughout the year. Teachers and other staff members work hard to encourage the 85 percent average correct.

The donation from H-E-B is used to reward the students who have maintained this average. This year, more than 250 students (over 63 percent of our enrollment) have reached this goal. Thank you, H-E-B and Jerry Rodriguez, for your continued support!
