The board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club is looking forward to their end of summer Gala, “A Night at the Casino.”

The gala is approaching on Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Community Center.

A Vegas-style ambiance will be featured with roulette wheels, gaming tables, dealers, music and great prizes!

“This year we have a whole new slant on our annual affair,” said Nan Linney, organizer.

A catered meal will be served at food stations that guests may choose from at their leisure.

Libations, a silent auctions with lots of goodies to choose from, and a live auction will be held in mid-evening.

“We think our guests will enjoy the change of format,” Linney said. “We have had an excellent response so far, so we encourage you to buy your tickets soon!”

The cut off date for purchasing tickets is Thursday, Aug. 25.
