Conjunto Intimo de Lorenzo Ortiz, recently seen on KIII 3’s Domingo Live Show performing songs from their new CD “Dos Cartas Marcadas,” will be one of the featured bands performing at the Diez y Seis de Septiembre celebration at the Expo Center on Sept. 10. The group, who plays conjunto music, will be on the stage at 3 p.m.

The band members, all from Beeville, include: Lorenzo Oritz – lead vocalist and bass guitar; Oliver Garcia – accordion and second vocal; Arturo Gutierrez – bajo sexto and second vocal; and Daniel Flores – drummer – who is also the youngest member of the band and a senior at A.C. Jones High School.

Cunjunto Intimo has been heard on the radio and has played at various functions and places in Beeville and the surrounding areas, with many more upcoming events on their calendar.
