This year’s Live Oak County Fair is scheduled for Mar. 26, 27, and 28. We are anticipating one that is even bigger and better than the last one. As you know, the collection of prize and premium money is vital to the success of the fair. Your contributions are used to provide the youngsters’ prizes and premiums on their time, efforts and expenses spent on their projects. I am sure that you will agree with us when we say that most young people involved in such activities as FFA, FCCLA and 4-H are, and will continue to be, the kind of young people who are real assets to our communities and to our country. Your contributions help to keep them involved. We greatly appreciate all contributions whether they be large or small.

If you would like to make a donation to the fair, mail your contribution to Live Oak County Fair, P. O. Box 144, Three Rivers, Texas 78071. We accept donations any time, but if you would like to have your name listed as a donor in the fair catalogue, have your donation in by Feb. 14.

Our rosette winning baked goods sale will be Friday, Mar. 27 at noon and our livestock auction sale will be held Saturday, Mar. 28 at 6 p.m. We invite you and your family to attend and participate.
