Texas 4-H calling for donations for firefighting efforts

With wildfires burning in several areas of South Texas the Texas 4-H is calling on all 4-H members, volunteers and parents to help by donating or collecting vital supplies to help with the health, safety and morale of those on fighting the fires on the frontlines.

These firefighters and volunteers are in need of lip balm, Gatorade (any flavor), cases of water, and high protein snacks (peanut butter crackers, protein bars, trail mix ext.).

Supplies can be taken to your local County Extension Office, College Station area: Texas 4H headquarters at 4180 State Hwy 6 South, College Station, Texas, 77845, Brownwood area: Texas 4-H Conference Center at 5600 FM 3021, Brownwood, Texas, 76802-0006, Burnet/Georgetown area: Burnet County Extension Office, 1701 East Polk Street, Suite 12, Burnet, Texas, 78611. The Burnet County Extension Office is also accepting clothing. The County Extension Offices along will work with the local fire departments and the Texas 4-H Headquarters to deliver the donations.
