The Bee County Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Center will hold its annual banquet on Thursday.

A social hour will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Beeville Country Club. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m.

Keynote speaker for the evening is state Rep. José Aliseda.

Aliseda was elected the House Republican Caucus Freshmen of the Year and passed legislation for election reform and securing the integrity of the ballot box.

He serves on the Criminal Jurisprudence Committee, Environmental Regulations Committee and the Select Committee on Voter Fraud and Voter ID.

Beeville native David Blackmon, chairman of the Texas State Affairs Committee for America’s Natural Gas Alliance and longtime columnist for the Bee-Picayune, also will be a guest speaker, discussing the Eagle Ford Shale oil and gas production and its impact in this area.

Tickets are $50. For more information about the banquet, call the chamber at 358-3267.

Way to go Mr. Aliseda. Beating that puppet immoral, bribe taking democrat was the best thing that could have taken place for your constituents.
